My passion for soils started as an undergraduate and continues to guide me through my master's research. I am currently working with Dr. Jonathan Deenik to determine which soil properties drive soil water retention in agricultural soils of Hawaiʻi. My research project serves as a stepping-stone for future soil water work in Hawaiʻi.
